What to Bring

WHAT TO BRING:

  • Sheets and pillow cases* - Check the Comparison of Features table for the correct bed sizes
  • Towels and wash cloths*
  • Bath soap and shampoo
  • Laundry Soap (Main House and Cedar Cabin only)
  • Flashlight
  • Paper towels
  • Charcoal, lighter fluid

    *Bed linens and towels are available for an additional Linen fee.

    WHAT NOT TO BRING: Worries and stress!

    WHAT YOU'LL WISH YOU HAD BROUGHT:

    Camera, film, video tapes, DVDs, water toys, sun block, fishing gear.

    HOUSEHOLD TRASH DUMP: (carry your own) Directions to trash and recycling centers are provided in each cabin and are shown on the Local Map.

    BOAT LAUNCH: The closest boat launch is Mitchell's Marina on Route 734, (540) 297-7174 (about 10 minutes away), see Local Map.

    CHECK IN: 3:00 p.m.

    CHECK OUT: 10:00 a.m.

    ITEMS PROVIDED:

  • Full kitchen: pots, pans, utensils, plates, glasses.
  • Condiments: Salt, pepper, sugar
  • Microwave oven
  • Television, DVD player, VCR, satellite receiver
  • Washer and Dryer (Main House and Cedar Cabin only)

  • Weber kettle barbecue on deck
  • Wireless Internet (Main House and Cedar Cabin only)

    ACCESS:

    Each cabin has a combination lock. The combination will be provided when full payment is received.


    TELEPHONES, INTERNET and CELL PHONE COVERAGE:
    There are no phones in the any of the properties. Secure Wireless Internet is provided in all properties. Passwords are provided after final payment is received.
    Most cell phones have excellent reception at our properties. Visitors using the following cell phone companies have had good reception in the past: AT&T, Sprint, Verizon, US Cellular, Cingular, and Nextel. Please advise us of other systems that work well, or those that do not.
